Evah Pirazzi Neo for Violin

Our new violin string set Evah Pirazzi Neo was designed in close collaboration and with the wonderful support of Janine Jansen. Together we developed a string set that offers great power and volume in its low frequencies, brilliance and focus across the entire sound spectrum and an inspiringly simple and direct response. In the words of Janine Jansen: “Excellent malleable sound, big, powerful, centered, noble and luminous. The strings stay in tune incredibly quickly, are very easy to work with from the start and feel extremely comfortable under the fingers.”

Viola Evah Pirazzi Gold - Set Steel

We are excited to introduce you to a novelty within the Evah Pirazzi Gold string line, which turns 10 years old this year! We have created an Evah Pirazzi Gold steel core viola set. This innovative new alternative set offers a tremendously brilliant direct sound with absolutely no metallic harshness. The complete steel string set contains A-steel/chrome steel, D-rope core/chrome steel, G-rope core/chrome steel and C-rope core/tungsten. The special processing of the materials allows these steel strings to provide the player with a large and soloistic volume of sound.

Cello Flexocor Deluxe

The A- and D-strings are made with a solid steel core which is wound with chrome steel and the G- and C-strings have a rope steel core which is wound with tungsten. This result in a set that provides a very deep and warm tone, combined with a robust sound volume and a balanced sound spectrum.
The cello Flexocor Deluxe are characterized by the seamless string to string transitions, the direct and effortless response, particularly on the lower strings, the direct and effortless response and the easy playability.

At Pirastro we are always developing our strings in collaboration with the musicians and luthiers. Perpetual - The Viola String

With the new PERPETUAL VIOLA string set, PIRASTRO has now completed the PERPETUAL product line. The PERPETUAL string line by PIRASTRO was originally introduced for Cello in 2016, followed by the PERPETUAL strings for Violin in 2018 and the release of the orchestral and solo tuning sets for Double Bass in 2019. Evah Pirazzi - C-string for 5-string violins

Recently PIRASTRO has added a violin C-string to their intense and powerful sounding EVAH PIRAZZI string line. PIRASTRO celebrates 20 years of EVAH PIRAZZI string line in 2020. The EVAH PIRAZZI violin strings are very well known for their outstanding playability and exceptional dynamic response which also makes them exceptional for electric violins or violins equipped with piezo-pickups. The 5-string violin set contains: E-silvery steel, A-aluminum, D- and G-silver, C-tungsten-silver.

EVAH PIRAZZI string sets are available for violin, viola, cello and double bass.

Perpetual - A Soloist Strong and C Edition Strong

The PERPETUAL CELLO string family was recently expanded with the addition of the A SOLOIST STRONG and the C EDITION STRONG. With its innovative technology and design the A SOLOIST STRONG string is now the warmest and richest sounding A in the PIRASTRO program. The new C EDITION STRONG string offers a very powerful and strong core sound, making it the most sonorous C in the PIRASTRO program.
