The impressive tonal potential of our Perpetual product line provides fullness and radiance with an overwhelming ease. An important and absolutely remarkable feature of the Perpetual is their immediate reliability which allows the player to trust in the strings tuning stability directly after installation.

Thanks to innovative materials and adopting new, carefully matched production methods, the development of PIRASTRO Perpetual resulted in a string set with a character not yet found in our product family. Within our range of violin strings, PIRASTRO Perpetual provides the largest sound volume and carrying power combined with a precisely focused sound projection. The clarity of its sound, however, does not diminish the abundance of colors Perpetual offers. Its vibrant tone attack and optimal string response seamlessly complement Perpetual's sound qualities from extreme fortissimo to the most sensitive whisper.

The Perpetual violin strings react in an ideal way to the finest nuances in bow speed and pressure; this enables the musician to play with an extreme range of dynamics and expression. The innovative core material allows a comfortable smoothness during legato, shifting, string crossings, double stops and chords. The extended reverberation of the Perpetual brings forth the beauty of sound.

E-Platinum

E-Platinum – The Perpetual set contains a platinum plated E-string which we offer in the gauges 0.26 mm (sounds silvery and very brilliant) and 0.267 mm (provides a slightly darker, more voluminous tone).

A-Steel/Chrome Steel

A-Steel/Chrome Steel – Aiming first of all to provide a choice for all players we additionally developed a high quality, steel core A-string with a chrome-steel winding. Starting with its sound spectrum, this A-string has nothing in common with the traditional steel string. It sounds rounder, more colorful and very voluminous. Combined with the synthetic core Perpetual G- and D-strings, this new steel A offers an organic transition with the D-string. With only a minimal increase in tension this steel A-string does not burden the instrument more than the synthetic core A-string. The steel A comes with a removable ball and is compatible with all types of fine tuners.

Set Cadenza

The new Perpetual Cadenza violin set is characterized by an enchanting balance between brilliance and depth of sound, combined with noticeably easy playability. Its rich overtones inspire musicians to explore nuances in timbre as the violin continues to resonate freely, facilitated by the remarkable response of the strings while playing in all areas of the bow. Due to low string tension, the left hand effortlessly achieves optimal artistry in shifts and portamenti.
